Doable holds calendar-style records that often include health details such as a doctor visit or a prescription pickup. Here is what happens to them.

What is stored

Your items (title, notes, dates, amounts, category), reminders, the sentences you sent to the capture bar, your settings (time zone, evening hour, phone number) and your plan. Titles, notes, captured sentences and your phone number are encrypted with AES-256-GCM before they are written to the database, and are never written to logs or put in web addresses.

What Doable does not do

Doable only organizes what you type. It does not diagnose, give medical advice or suggest doses. If a sentence mentions signs that may be an emergency, Doable shows emergency numbers and stops, without sending that sentence to the AI, and does not keep its text.

Who processes your data

  • Forge platform

    Hosts the app and its database, and provides sign-in (Google and email code), the payments relay and the AI gateway.

  • AI model through the Forge inference gateway (forge:text-smart)

    Reads the sentence you type in the capture bar to propose items. Only that sentence and your time zone are sent, never your stored items.

  • Google

    Signs you in with Google. If you connect Google Calendar (Premium), event titles and times for appointments and travel are copied to your calendar, and the next 30 days of events are read back.

  • Stripe (through the Forge payments relay)

    Processes the Premium subscription. Doable never sees your card number.

  • Twilio

    Sends SMS reminders if you turn them on (Premium) and the owner has configured it. It receives your phone number and the message text. Health-related reminders send a generic line without the item's title.

  • Your browser's speech service

    Voice input (Premium) uses your browser's built-in speech recognition. Depending on the browser, audio may be sent to that browser's vendor to be transcribed. Doable stores only the text you confirm.

Deleting your data

In Settings, “Delete all my data” permanently removes every item, reminder, saved capture and your settings, including the phone number. Events already copied to Google Calendar stay in that calendar until you delete them there. Deleting an item also removes the calendar event Doable made for it.
